NEW ORLEANS — The two new Sewell Cadillac Chevrolet billboards in the city drive their marketing point home with a little humor.

The billboards read: “New Orleans’ Finest Drive Sewell,” an apparent reference to the dozens of cars taken during the Hurricane Katrina evacuation by the New Orleans police force.

Executives from Sewell and Zehnder Communications, a New Orleans-based advertising agency, came up with the concept, said Stephen Tolerico, spokesman and vice president of marketing for Sewell Automotive Cos. in Dallas.
