The Definition of "Blanco"
Sources at our nation's Capitol tell us that the latest Hill staff slang includes the term "Blanco."
Hill staffers on both sides of the aisle have started using "Blanco" as a substitute for poor performance or lame idea. Basically "Blanco" now means or is synonymous with the words dumb and foolish.
Throughout senate and house office buildings can be heard phrases like, "he sure pulled a Blanco in that speech and Senator so and so just had a Blanco moment on the floor."
(Louisiana once again the butt of political jokes, the laughingstock of America.)
